The surgery has many modern pieces of equipment that aid in the
examination, diagnosis and specialist care of your animal.
 We
have a fully equipped laboratory with a blood analyser able to do
immediate interpretation of blood samples, a microscope, and an
ultrasound machine that allows non-invasive examination of internal
organs or pregnancy diagnosis.
The surgery also has an endoscope that allows internal examination
of organs like the stomach without the need for extensive surgery.

Radiography Area
There is a dedicated radiography area with an automatic x-ray developer
allowing for quick and efficient radiographic investigation.
Stainless
Steel Kennel Units
For in patients the main stainless steel kennel units are split
into two areas, one for day surgical cases and one for ‘in
patients’ who are being hospitalised with us for a period
of time. Your animal has its own warm, dry fleecy vetbed during
its stay. There is also a separate closed off housing area for cats
or other small or nervous animals.
An incubator provides essential specialist care for the very sick
young or small animal.
The fully tiled isolation kennel area allows for separate housing
and easy cleaning of potentially infectious cases.
Operating
Suites
Two separate operating suites allow for easy separation of cases.
The more sterile internal and orthopaedic cases being performed
in the large theatre and the dental cases and other less sterile
work being done in the smaller operating area.
Both operating rooms are fully equipped with hospital standard
anaesthetic and other ancillary equipment. |
