Our friendly reception staff are an integral part of the whole Dalblair Vets team and as the first point of contact, either on the phone or at the reception desk, provide a welcoming and informative service.

We are the longest established veterinary practice in the area having been to the fore in caring for the animals of Ayrshire for over a hundred years.
Value For Money
We are committed to offering pet owners the best service and facilities that we can. As pet owners ourselves we are aware of the cost of looking after our companion animals, however we also feel that if they do have occasion to need medical attention or be admitted to hospital for surgery we would wish the reassurance that they were being looked after with the best care and support available, with this in mind we feel that the service we provide is excellent value for money.
Superb Facilities
Our main surgery is well situated in Ayr town centre with our own sizeable car park. There is wheelchair access into the surgery and consulting rooms. Internally we have two separate operating theatres, a fully equipped modern laboratory and our branch surgery is also well situated just off Prestwick Main Street. The Hunter Street surgery facilities include 2 consulting rooms, large waiting room, kennel suite, laboratory and separate operating theatre. Recently we have also opened a state of the art dental facility on St Quivox Road in Prestwick. We also host our referral dermatology and diagnostic ultrasound services here. Multi Disciplinary Team
We have many years of experience and a wide range of expertise between our team of vets and qualified nurses. Some of us also have areas of special interest and post graduate qualifications that you may read about on our individual postings. This allows us to offer the best possible advice for your pet as we may draw on each others specialised and individual skills. Find out more on our Team page.

Because we are independent we retain our staff. We encourage clients to request to see the same vet/nurse during any course of treatment.
